The AT&T signal was 3 bars, so no issues there and there is a gas station & mini mart adjoining the parking lot. There is a laundromat in the main street, it is clean and machines worked well. It has all the conveniences that your need making it an enjoyable stay. It is a wonderful place to setup home base for many outdoor sports, such as, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, water sports. Susanville is located in the north east of California about 140 kilometres north west of Reno. Boondocking Diamond Mountain Casino Susanville We did get a visit from the Casino to see how long we were staying. This is not surprising, given that we stayed free for 5 nights. Boondocking Diamond Mountain Casino is a popular spot, we had other RVer’s parked for our entire stay. However, on the flip side you do feel safe. As with any overnight stay in a parking lot, the lighting is great but that does cause a problem if your window dressings don’t block out the light. This works out wonderfully for us, as the noise is mostly non-existent.

The Casinos are no exception, thus the traffic within the lot is relatively light compared to what I assume it normally would be. However, the light posts within the car lot have power on them allowing us to connect to shore power, which is a bonus.ĭue to the current state of affairs the world has found itself in, many places are closed. So, it stayed for the rest of our stay, very disappointed. WRONG, we awake to find a sign saying the store is closed indefinitely ☹. We are unable to get it entirely level but close enough.Īlso, this spot sits right across from a coffee shop, are we lucky or what 😊.

Although, the lot is on an incline, meaning we will have to level the RV out. After doing a few laps of the lot we settle on what we think will be the best spot to setup.
